Gutter Cleaning in Simcoe County, ON

Professional Gutter Cleaning for Homes Across Simcoe County
North Pro Home & Cottage Services provides residential-focused gutter cleaning across Simcoe County, ON, including Oro-Medonte and surrounding communities. Our service is designed to help homeowners prevent water damage, protect their exterior, and stay safely off ladders.
In our region, heavy fall leaf drop, spring runoff, and freeze-thaw cycles can cause gutters and downspouts to clog quickly. When water can’t drain properly, it overflows onto siding, fascia, and landscaping, or worse, toward the foundation. Routine gutter cleaning helps prevent these issues before they turn into repairs.
Clogged downspouts are especially common during seasonal melt, when water backs up and spills over the gutter edge. Combined with the weight of wet debris, this can accelerate sagging and wear. Our goal is simple: restore proper water flow and give you a clear picture of your gutter condition without taking unnecessary risks.
We focus primarily on residential homes. Select commercial properties may be serviced when access is safe and conditions allow, because safety always comes first.

What Types of Gutters We Can Clean Safely
Aluminum
Gutters
Common throughout Simcoe County. These are cleaned using manual debris removal, vacuuming where needed, and flushing for proper flow.
Seamless
Gutter Systems
Seamless systems receive the same detailed care. We also note any visible sagging or flow concerns during service.
Gutter Guards and Access Limitations
Homes with gutter guards still need maintenance, and we clean the top surface of the guards but don’t remove debris underneath them. For safety, we may decline service if gutters typically past a 35-foot ladder reach or if other hazards are present.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer gutter whitening, and what does that include?
Yes. Gutter whitening is available as an add-on to our gutter cleaning service. It focuses on improving appearance by removing surface buildup such as mold, mildew, and algae. It does not include repairs or restoration work.
Is gutter whitening the same as oxidation removal?
No. Gutter whitening and oxidation removal are different services. Oxidation removal is not part of our standard offering and is not advertised as a routine service.
What happens if my gutters are too high or unsafe to access?
Safety comes first. If gutters cannot be accessed safely due to height, roofline layout, or ladder placement, we may decline the job rather than attempt it under unsafe conditions.
If a job can’t be completed safely due to access, height, or weather, is there a trip charge?
No. If conditions prevent safe completion, we prioritize safety and clear communication rather than proceeding under risk.
Do you clean underneath gutter guards?
No. We clean the top surface of gutter guards but do not remove or clean debris underneath them.
If I have gutter guards, what results should I expect from gutter cleaning?
You can expect visible debris and buildup to be removed from the top of the guards. Debris underneath the guards is not cleaned as part of our service.
Do you recommend installing gutter guards to reduce maintenance?
We generally do not recommend gutter guards. In our experience, they often still allow debris buildup and can create additional maintenance issues over time.
Do you install strainers or products to prevent downspout clogs?
No. We do not install strainers or add-on devices. Our focus is on proper cleaning and ensuring water is flowing correctly at the time of service.
If a downspout is clogged, will you clear it during gutter cleaning?
Yes. If a downspout is not flowing properly, we will flush it as part of the gutter cleaning service to restore drainage.
If you notice sagging gutters or other issues, do you repair them?
No. We do not perform repairs as part of gutter cleaning. However, we will document and point out any issues we notice so you’re aware of potential next steps.
Can you refer someone for gutter repairs, replacement, or guard installation?
Yes. If repairs, replacement, or guard installation are needed, we can refer you to a trusted contact for that work.
How do you protect landscaping during gutter cleaning?
We work carefully around landscaping by avoiding plant damage and containing debris as it’s removed. Leaves and buildup are collected rather than scattered around the property.
